We Want to Hear from You!
Each year when I return to Richmond, I want to bring your ideas and thoughts with me to inform my decisions. This year is a "short" Session, so all of the Delegates and Senators will be together for 45 days, starting on January 9th. We'll be voting on really important issues like tax conformity, Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC), school safety reform, healthcare, housing policy, ratifying the ERA (I'm a co-patron!) and more! Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey to let me know what matters most to you for the upcoming session.

Congratulations to all those who graduated basic training and took their oaths!
I'm a co-patron on the 2019 resolution to ratify the ERA here in Virginia -- will you join me by signing here?
It was an honor to be a judge at Billsburg Brewery and support the Alzheimer's Association!

At the beginning of the month, the Special Master released their proposed new maps. The Court appointed this Special Master to draw new House of Delegates districts to correct the 11 districts deemed racially gerrymandered in a ruling this summer. One of these districts, District 95 (Delegate Cia Price) is right next to my district, the 93rd. In both of the proposed new maps for the Peninsula, my district changes (see the district in green below). However, the Peninsula 2 map makes my race a dead heat again. We will find out which maps the Court chooses in the coming months, hopefully before we have to start our re-election campaigns! If you would like to see if your representative changes with any of the new maps, check out this great tool from VPAP.
W&M students gave a presentation about drawing new district lines!
I'm so excited to work under my dear friend, Minority Leader Eileen Filler-Corn!
Thanks Colonial Transit for the escort at the Williamsburg Christmas Parade!
Looking Ahead to 2019
As we close out 2018, I wish you and yours a happy and healthy holiday season. As we ring in the New Year, I will return to Richmond to continue fighting for the residents of the 93rd District and the rest of the Commonwealth. Thank you for allowing me to serve you.
