Testifying in Subcommittee
Commerce & Labor Subcommittee #1 saw bills pertaining to access to contraceptives this past week. One of our very own William & Mary students and superstar volunteers shared her story in front of me and the rest of the subcommittee members. I am so proud to know advocates like her!

Bills, Bills, Bills!
Just this morning, I had a bill break out of committee! HB 507, which includes Dual Language in K-12 Standards of Quality made it out of the full Education Committee. Big shoutout to VADLEN for bringing this issue to our attention, we hope to continue working with them and the rest of the education community to keep schools a top priority for the Commonwealth.
Bills HB 210 and HB 1511, aimed at amending the process for juvenile pretrial appeals and allowing Commonwealth's Attorneys to serve process in some instances, respectively, made it out of the Criminal Law subcommittee last week. They will be heard in the full courts committee this week and if successful, they'll be on to the floor!
